Meet Dr. Julie Link, Au.D.

Dr. Julie Link established The Audiology METHOD with a focus on serving working adults with hearing challenges. Drawing from her extensive clinical experience, she identified a gap in care for this busy demographic and created a practice that offers efficient, effective hearing solutions. Dr. Link takes a comprehensive approach to audiology, addressing not only the technical aspects of hearing loss but also its personal impact.

At The Audiology METHOD, Dr. Link builds relationships based on partnership—with patients, their families, and medical providers. Her approach begins with listening to understand each person's needs before recommending solutions. Using evidence-based practices and advanced hearing technology, she addresses not only hearing improvement but overall quality of life, including the prevention of risks associated with untreated hearing loss such as cognitive decline, falls, and depression.

Raised on a family farm in Ohio, Dr. Link developed an early awareness of noise-induced hearing loss that influenced her career path. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Miami University before earning her Doctor of Audiology from Rush University in Chicago, graduating with a Distinction in Clinical Excellence. Her training included valuable experience across diverse settings—university and VA hospitals, ENT clinics, hearing aid R&D, and the prestigious Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital. This varied background equipped her with the skills to address complex hearing challenges for patients of all ages and needs.

Dr. Link has served the profession in numerous leadership roles, including on the board of the Colorado Academy of Audiology and in several national committees for the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, including Accreditation, Early Career Professionals, and National Convention Planning.

When not practicing audiology, Dr. Link finds joy in biking, skiing, and live music in the great outdoors. When she cannot get away to the mountains you can find her catching up on her favorite podcasts, sipping American pale ales, and challenging her family and friends to a competitive game of Ticket to Ride, Mancala or Kings on the Corner.
